This has been sat in my drafts for two months. Whoops...

As a second year student I need to start thinking about what area I want to specialise in. I have always known that I wanted to be an animator. As much as I find set building and puppet making interesting, it is not the field I want to go into.

Walt Disney is the one person I idolise. In my opinion, he has changed the world. He created the most wonderful work. His vision bought people together. I only wish I could have met him. I would thank him for the joy he and his company has given me over my lifetime. Stop-Motion wise; the work of Aardman has always been a massive inspiration to me. I grew up with Wallace & Gromit. I was in ore of how they created the animations.

At 13 I was properly introduced to the Stop-Motion method; this is when I knew this is what I wanted to spend my life doing.

That has not changed. All I want to do is animate. I just want to take other peoples puppets and bring them to life.
